Gina G passed on Not In Front Of The Children by Marjorie Heins, which is a legal history of the idea of materials being harmful to minors, from Plato to the present. I’m only on the first chapter, and it seems pretty good so far, but I keep getting interrupted while I’m trying to read it. (Phone calls, emails, lack of cookies- all these things need to be addressed right away!) So I don’t think I could accurately call it riveting, based on how often I’ve put it down today, but since that is not properly the fault of the book, I can recommend it as being quite good & full of facts for as far as I’ve gotten.

This week is the last few pages of chapter 2, so hang in there! There will be some announcements Friday for the start of the new chapter.
