When we were originally talking about the book and the production, the idea of doing something to set the Apathea pages apart from the rest of the book was brought up. We had talked about maybe having the pages in color, but I thought that it might separate it too much from the rest of the story. In the end, we decided to just go with some grey tones [well, obivously].

Anyhow, just to show you how much it helps make the scenes more dramatic, here’s the original line art for this page:

And a little update of my post from last week: It took me 5 days to finish The Hunger Games, 3 days to finish Catching Fire, and 2 days to finish Mockingjay. If you are late to the party like me and haven’t read Suzanne Collin’s great YA series yet, I can’t recommend it highly enough. I couldn’t put it down!
